Yes! JobFlow fully supports volunteering and third sector organizations.
- For organizations: publish volunteer postings specifying entity type (Volunteer Org, Social Promotion Assoc., Third Sector Entity, Foundation, Social Cooperative, Social Enterprise), expense reimbursement availability and maximum amount.
- For volunteers: enable volunteering availability in your profile. Organizations can find and invite you.
- Gigs: gig requests can also be volunteer activities.
In Italy, the reference legislation is D.Lgs. 117/2017 (Third Sector Code). For other countries, local legislation applies.
Under Italian law (D.Lgs. 117/2017), volunteering is unpaid by definition. Only actual documented expenses, pre-authorized by the organization, may be reimbursed.
On JobFlow, organizations can indicate whether expense reimbursement is available and the maximum amount. Reimbursement is managed directly between volunteer and organization, outside the platform.
Note: regulations vary by country. The law of the country where the activity takes place always applies.
