Volunteering Activities
JobFlow allows third sector organizations (Volunteer Organizations, Social Promotion Associations, Third Sector Entities, Foundations, Social Cooperatives, Social Enterprises) to publish volunteer postings and users to apply.
Applicable law: volunteer activities carried out in Italy are governed by Legislative Decree 117/2017 (Third Sector Code). For activities in other countries, the local legislation of the host country applies. A volunteer is not an employee: the activity is unpaid by definition. Only actual documented expenses, pre-authorized by the organization, may be reimbursed.
JobFlow does not manage expense reimbursements or relationships between volunteers and organizations: the platform only connects the parties. The organization is responsible for mandatory volunteer insurance and compliance with applicable regulations.
